Anjelica Lindsey Joins The Recording Academy, Organization Behind the GRAMMY Awards

Anjelica Lindsey has received an invitation to join The Recording Academy, the professional organization behind the GRAMMY Awards. The Recording Academy is a membership-based institution of music creators, including composers, performers, producers, and engineers, who contribute to the annual GRAMMY Awards process recognizing achievement in recorded music.

Membership in The Recording Academy includes participation in a professional community of music industry peers and eligibility to vote in the GRAMMY Awards, which honor artistic and technical excellence across a wide range of genres and disciplines.

Lindsey’s partner, Mark Kuykendall, composer, producer, and audio engineer, also received an invitation to join The Recording Academy and will be joining the Oklahoma/Texas chapter. Kuykendall is co-owner of Wild Mountain Studios in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he works as a producer and engineer on recording projects.

The invitations recognize both artists’ ongoing work in composition, recording, and music production within contemporary classical and interdisciplinary music contexts.
